When I first moved to Centerton back in 1993, there was very little happening here, there was just one gas station and a blinking yellow light. Today, our community is approaching 30,000 residents and has led the state in growth for three straight years. But with that explosive growth has come unexpected strains on our infrastructure and resources, and we simply haven't been able to keep up. That is why I am running. Being a part of the solution to this growth is deeply important to me, because my own children will either benefit or suffer from the decisions being made on our council. I want to make sure we get those decisions right for their future and for ours.
We do not have our own water treatment plant or sewer capacity to keep up with the growth. Resolving this issue is imperative to growth in Centerton
With growth and the strain on infrastructure, our roads need to be maintained proactively, and new routes need to be planned intelligently.
We lack having diverse businesses in Centerton. Creating spaces and environments to attract new businesses to the area will help make Centerton more than just a bedroom community.
There has been a lot of concern over Flock cameras and the balance between citizen privacy and continuing to have a safe community. I believe there is already a strong established sense of safety I want to maintain.
Have questions or suggestions? I would love to hear from you!
